The Marshfield Junior High School 8th grade Blue Jays won the Central Ozark Conference Basketball Tournament at Nixa Friday night, beating the host Eagles to complete a perfect season.
The 8th grade Blue Jays went 15-0 this season after the win.
"I’ve been around the COC for nine years now," Marshfield coach Doug Summers said. "And this is as good a group of junior high players that I’ve seen."
The Marshfield 8th grade Blue Jays included: Milan Patel, Jeremy Griffith, Josh Jones, Eli Bell, Baxter Noel, Josiah Reese, Will Pate, Sean Wallace, Cody Brown, Tel Rust, Kory Keeth, Utah Findley, Jared Greenlee, Tanner Christoph, Brady Taylor and Nic Yonter.
