For the 3rd year in a row, and the 11th time since 1992 the Marshfield Lady Jays and the Jefferson City Helias Catholic Crusaders will battle again to see who goes to the Final Four and who goes home. In 2024 Marshfield beat Helias to go onto the state finals. The final score was 56-49.
Last year Helias upset the Lady Jays looking to go to the Final Four back to back years, in a game where Helias jumped out early and never looked back. 32-43.
This year Marshfield 26-3 will face a different Helias team who graduated 5 starters and finished the regular season 5 games under 500. 10-15.
After running through the district with wins over Lebanon, Camdenton, and Jefferson City they will face the Lady Jays on the road in Lebanon.
The Jays lead the all time series 6-4 over the Crusaders.
