Someone forgot to tell the Jays and Wolves that Friday’s game didn’t mean anything, both teams played like the COC championship was on the line. The game was war. A heaveyweight title fight, with both teams taking some blows and then recovering to punish the other.
In the first quarter Reeds Spring jumped out to an early lead, but the Jays recovered by the end of the quarter to tie. The Jays led by 4 at the half and stretched that into an 8 point lead in the 4th quarter, but then another run by the Wolves found the two teams trading baskets and trading the lead up until the bitter end. Bitter if you are a Blue Jays fan that is. The Wolves ended up on top winning by 2.
Charlie Williams played a great game scoring 20. Jared Greenlee had 16, and Ty Diehl added 10. Utah Findley had 5 and McCroskey added 2 for the Jays.
This was the best game I have seen the boys play all year! I can’t wait for tomorrow!
