First in the 6th inning Ponder singled into center field but as she rounded the base at first Novakovich come up throwing, firing the ball into first to Ashton Worth who tagged out the shocked baserunner. Then later in the same inning with two outs Sanders walked Melanie Gould. At that point Aston Worth come into the game. The first batter Ashton faced was Mesha Riggs, she singled. With 2 down and runners on first and second Tori Lamkins drove one out into right field. Lebanon’s coach decided to test Campbell’s arm waiving in the runner. Elizabeth Campbell fired a bullet into Amanda Gourley at home who tagged out the runner at the plate keeping the game tied at 1.
