The Marshfield Lady Jays softball team got underway tonight, but then lightning flashed forcing the teams and crowd to take cover. Then the downpour that followed put and end to the game.
Marshfield held Hollister scoreless in the top of the first, and was just headed to bat when the storm blew in.
The game will be rescheduled. We will not start with the bottom of the first, it will just start over as a new game.
