The Jays went to Hollister and put it to the Tigers 40-14. The offense looked great. Dillion Harms rushed for 196 yards and 4 touchdowns.. Sophomore Quarterback Blayne Armstrong, getting his first start went 16 for 21 for over 200 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Utah Findley had 96 receiving yards. Jared Greenley had 72 yards recieving with 2 touchdowns, one of those being a 40 yard bomb in the third quarter. The offensive line opened up holes for Harms and gave Armstrong plenty of time to deliver the ball around.
On the other side of the ball, the defense looked just as good. The Marshfield defense allowed only 14 points and had a real test in the fourth quarter. Hollister moved the ball down to 1st and goal at the 2. On first down the Tigers moved the ball to the goal line. Three plays in a row the Marshfield D turned back the Tigers and forced a turnover on downs.
Marshfield will play the first home game of the season next Friday as the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish will come to town. Both teams are 1-0 after Catholic pounded East Newton 50-15.
