Ava’s pitcher struck out 13 Marshfield batters and her offense pushed one run across in the sixth and added one in the seventh inning to beat the lady Jays 2-0.

The Jays end their season with a record of 17-5. 

Coach Murphy pointed out in the postgame show, "We don’t have anything to be ashamed of.  I told the girls after the game that we were one out away from a share of the COC conference championship and when the season started we weren’t picked anywhere near the top of the conference."  Marshfield does not have any seniors on the roster, so the whole team can return for next year and try to make it to the District Championship and beyond.
