Here is how our local teams fared in the Blue and Gold Tournament.
The unseeded Marshfield Blue Jays were 2 and out after losing to 7th seed West Plains in the first round 69-44 and fighting hard but coming up just short against Clever 37-34 in the second round.
Logan Rogersville got the number two seed and took care of business to advance into the Blue Division Championship against (1) seed Springfield Kickapoo. This game is taking place today.
Rogersville beat Sparta in the first round 55-15. Beat (7) Springfield catholic 58-32 in the second round.
In the semifinals The Wildcats sunk the Branson Pirates 54-34 to advance to the Championship.
Strafford got the #4 Seed in the Gold Division and Beat Miller in the first round 70-56 before falling in the second round to 5th Seeded Greenwood 69-49. Strafford then lost to Top Seeded Nixa 73-42. Nixa was upset in the second round by unseeded Bolivar 59-56.

Marshfield Boys will play on Thursday December 26th at 5pm vs the #7 Seed West Plains at the Great Southern Bank Arena on the campus of Missouri State University. You can watch this game by clicking the game link below.
Win or lose the gametime for Friday will be at 12:30. MarshfieldWebTv will not be able to cover the Friday Game because we will be attending the funeral of a very dear friend and Marshfield Blue Jay fan Dolan Hopkins. Dolan cheered on his grandkids and our kids for many years. He will have the best seat in the house from now on.
If the Jays advance into play on Saturday we will be there.
