The Marshfield High School Blue Jays finished fifth in the 13-team Bolivar Relays on Friday, April 11, in Bolivar.
The Blue Jays will be hosting the annual Marshfield High School Invitational Track & Field meet on Tuesday, April, 15.
At Bolivar, the team scores were:
1. Bolivar 109, 2. Reeds Spring 101, 3. Stockton 91, 4. Willard 74.5, 5. Marshfield 70.5, 6. Republic 51, 7. Buffalo 50, 8. El Dorado Springs 49.5, 9. Conway 43.5, 10. Osceola 39, 11. Humansville 4, 12. Osage 4.
Drew Thomas of Marshfield won the 1,600 meter run with a time of 4:43.16 minutes.
Brad Dinwiddie took third in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.46 seconds, a race won by eric Peer of Stockton in 23.56. Brad Dinwiddie also took third in the triple jump with an effort of 37 feet. Jason Tyler of El Dorado Springs won the even at 41-3.
Marshfield took third in the 1,600 meter relay with a time of 3:39.18 minutes. That race was won by Stockton in 3:36.16.
Justin Jones of Marshfield was second in the high jump with a 6-foot, 2-inch effort. David Selby of Reeds Spring won the even at 6-4.
Alex Bartow of the Blue Jays was second in the long jump at 21 feet, 10.75 inches. Jason Tyler of El Dorado Springs won the event at 21-9.
