The Jays fought hard throughout the game, but came up short against the Wildcats 49-31. The gym was as electric as I have ever seen it for a boy’s contest in the new building. The Jays jumped out to an early lead, but a steal and a bucket in the last 30 seconds of the quarter gave the Wildcats the first lead of the game 9-8. At halftime the cats were up 26-14. They went on to win by 18 points, the final was 49-31.
