The combination of veterans and newcomers had some in the crowd reaching for their programs as the Jays dominated Walnut Grove. In the end 10 Jays contributed.
Freshman Jared Greenlee led all scorers with 20. He also had 6 rebounds, 4 steals, an assist, and a block.
Senior Charlie Williams scored 13, 4 blocked shots, 2 steals, and an assist, and rebounds in 3 quarters of play.
Freshman Utah Findley scored 11, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.
Senior Cameron Keenan ran the point, scored 10 and had a steal.
Freshman Brady Taylor come off the bench to add 9 points, 2 rebounds and a steal.
Sophomore Ty Diehl scored 3, grabbed two boards and stole the ball once.
Junior Dwayne McCroskey scored 2, led the fast break, had two steals, and grabbed a rebound.
Senior Scotty Ragsdale scored 2, and grabbed 2 rebounds.
Senior Ethan Jernigan scored 2, got a rebound, stole the ball once and had an assist.
Senior Shaun Crawford got a rebound.
Tonight this unit played TEAM basketball. This group is a fun group to watch. Don’t cheat yourself and come out to see these Jays in action this Friday against Buffalo at 8:00. Buffalo beat Niangua 77-44.
