After a scoreless first quarter, Marshfield jumped out to a 15 point lead at halftime. The Jays added 6 more in the fourth and went on to a 21-6 victory. No suprise that the contest was very physical, as most games between these two teams are.
The Jays start district play next week when they travel to Springfield Hillcrest for what Coach Randolph calls the “second season”. If you can’t make the trip to Springfield, don’t fear, we will call the game right here. Just for you.
