Marshfield went to Springfield Catholic for Week 5 to face their newest conference foe. The Jays used a balanced offensive attack in the first half to open up a 21-7 lead. The Jays had 122 rushing yards and 114 through the air.
In the second half, the Jays kept it on the ground to pound out another 187 yards while eating up the clock on the way to a 42-21 victory.
