The Marshfield Bluejays went to Bolivar lastnight wanting to show how much we have improved. Thats just what we did in the first half. At the end of the first quarter the score was 7-0 Bolivar. Marshfield penetrated deep and went for it on 4th down from the 5, but Bolivar made the stop. At Halftime the score was 14-0.
Marshfield’s defense stopped Bolivar on 4 different 4th down trys. At least two of those were in the red zone.
The second half things slipped away and the final score ended up being pretty ugly. The game was closer than the score indicated. Final Bolivar 41 JAYS 6.
Marshfield is now 1-2 on the season. Bolivar is 3-0.
Next action for the BIG BLUE will be at home on Frday as they host the 0-3 Buffalo Bison. Then we play an 0-3 Reeds Spring team in Week 5. We look forward to getting back on the winning track starting next Friday!
