The 3rd time was the charm for the Marshfield Bluejays as they beat the Bolivar Liberators for the 1st time in 3 tries this year. We got em when it counted in the class 4 District 10 semi-finals. JAYS 57 Bolivar 49.

Marshfield’s defense held Bolivar to just 38% from the field. Bolivar hit only 14 for 37 for 2, and a dismal 5 for 26 (19%) from beyond the 3 point arc.
Marshfield was led by Lucas Clift with 19. Clift dominated the inside, Bolivar had no answer. Armstrong scored 17 and rebounded everything Bolivar missed. Findley had 8, Powell and Clancy each scored 5, and Welsh hit a 3 for the Jays.
Marshfield advances to place Springfield Hillcrest on Saturday at 1. Hillcrest had no problems beating Eldon 79-45.
