The Marshfield Lady Jays finished fourth in the 13-team Willard High School Invitational Track & Field meet on Thursday, April 17 in Willard.

The Lady Jays finished behind, in order of finish, Branson, East Newton and Reeds Spring. Following Marshfield, in order, was Mt. View, Republic, Willard, Spokane, Fair Grove, Morrisville, Walnut Grove, Rogersville and Buffalo.

Anna Glenn won the discuss for the Lady Jays with a throw of 94 feet 4 inches.

Jessica Greer was first in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:03.57 minutes.

Phoebe Letterman took first in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.94 seconds.

Sara Jane Plemmons finished second in the shot put with a throw of 33 feet 1.5 inches. Painter of Morrisville won the event at 33-7.

Jessica Stepp finished third in the long jump for the Lady Jays, jumping 13 feet 9 inches. Williams of East Newton won the event at 14-2.

The Lady Jays 400 meter relay team finished third at the meet with a time of 56.38 seconds. Reeds Spring won the event in 53.12.

Marshfield took third in the 800 meter relay with a time of 1:58.78 minutes. Reeds Spring also won that race with a time of 1:51.29.

The Lady Jays 3,200 meter relay team finished third in 11:22.23 minutes, a race won by Branson in 10:25.57.

The next scheduled meet for the Lady Jays is the Central Ozark Conference/Ozark Conference Supermeet on Wednesday, April 23.
