Chris Bigley went down in the 3rd quarter with a knee injury. We wish the best for that young gentleman who is a leader on and off the field.
Branson jumped out to a 10-0 lead before Marshfield was able to answer just before the half. Marshfield scored, making the halftime score 10-7. The 3rd quarter was a disaster for our Jays as turnovers helped to fuel the Branson scoring fire. Branson pinned 21 unanswered points on the scoreboard in the 3rd quarter making the score 31-7. Bigley’s injury seemed to have a shock effect on the team, as it took a while for the team to recover.
