The Jays and Lady Jays each took two losses and are done for the Pink and White and Blue and Gold Tournaments.  That is not the full story…

The unseeded Blue Jays played the #2 Class 2 team in the state of Missouri in the first round and lost to Hartville 56-30.  This game was the first game back after two Seniors quit the team and also saw the return of Sophomore Peyton McBride who had been sidelined all season with a knee injury.

In the second game the Jays played much better with the new chemistry on the floor but just couldn’t get past the Lebanon Yellow Jackets.  The Jackets were the #5 Seed playing in the consolation bracket after being upset in the first round by Branson.  The Jays trailed by 3 at the half and went on to lose by 12.

Look for the boys to continue to improve as they are coming together as a team.

The Lady Jays went into the Pink and White winners of 5 in a row but ran into the #2 Seed Ozark Lady Tigers.  The Tigers are a talented team that may be the best in the area.  Look for them to play in the Championship game.  Ozark 53 Marshfield 18.

The second round game was a BATTLE.  Marshfield played conference foe Rogersville in a game that went down to the wire!  Our Ladies come up just short losing 59-52.  We will see the Lady Wildcats at the end of the year – circle that one on your calendar!

All of these games can be seen “ON DEMAND” on this website!
