Glendale scored one in the first and added two more in the third and that’s all they would need as the Jays were only able to put one run across in the bottom of the third. Glendale won by that score of 3-1.
Marshfield’s only run came in the third when Morgan Smith doubled with one out and two batters later, Anna Glenn doubled to score Smith.
The Jays had a chance in the sixth, with runners on the corners and noone out, but Prater pitched her way out of the jam without allowing a run.
Marshfield drops to 11-3 on the year and Glendale moves to 10-4.
This was a non-conference matchup.
