The Lady Jays travelled to Willard Tuesday night and beat up on the host Tigers 8-2.
Marshfield made the most of their hits while scoring 8 runs on only seven hits. Marshfield’s Kelsey Kleeman gets the win. Kleeman was able to work her way out of a bases loaded jam, with only one out, in the 3rd inning without giving up a run.
Latasha Baderdeen had 4 RBI’s in the game. Three of them coming with a bases loaded double.
Marshfield is 5-1 overall, 2-0 in the Central Ozark Conference, and making a claim for a high seed come district time after beating Willard, Rogersville, and Ava as all three teams are in our district. Bolivar is also in the district, and we will face them on the road on September 18th.
