Friday night the BlueJays traveled down Highway 60 to Willow Springs.  The last two times we made that trip we have come home beaten.Â

Marshfield jumped on top from the opening kickoff.  Evan Theobold took the opening kick at the 18 and went 82 yards down the sideline for a Touchdown.  8 seconds into the game the JAYS led 7-0.

With 9:04 left in the first quarter Willow Springs hooked up with a 52 yard TD pass to tie the score at 7.

Harms scored with a 4 yard TD run at the 5:19 mark to regain the lead 14-7.

With 11:08 in the 2nd quarter Bransfield found Greenley in the end zone for a 30 yard TD pass.  Marshfield led 21-7.Â

Willow answered before the half by scoring on a 25 yard TE run and then a 10 yard TD to tie the game at 21 at the half.

In the 2nd half MHS scored with Bransfield to Greenley for a 25 yard TD pass to make it 28-21.  Then Willow scored on a safety making the score 28-23.

Willow then scored on a 65 yard TD to take thier first lead of the game.  They went for two and got it making the score Willow Springs 31- MHS 28.

Marshfield then took over with 2 minutes to go in the game and drove down the field.  With 6.1 seconds left on the clock Marshfield faced a 4th and 18 from the twenty yard line.  Bransfield found Utah Findley over the middle about the five and he took it in from there giving Marshfield the lead 35-31.  One of the best high school games I have ever seen and a HUGE come from behind win for your Blue Jays!

Marshfield is now 3-3 on the season and will go to Reeds Spring on Friday.
