Marshfield High School graduate Darren King, a driving force behind the hot rock bank Mute Math, will be touring with his band in 2008 in some fast company.
Mute Math, which has been nominated for a Grammy for their work on the movie soundtrack of Michael Bays hit film Transformers, will be touring with Matchbox Twenty and Alanis Morissett beginning Jan. 25.
The band, which has released multiple albums to much critical acclaim, will be playing in Kansas City on Feb. 25 at the Sprint Center as part of that tour.
Mute Math was formed by King and Paul Meany, and is based in New Orleans, and the band now includes Greg Hill and Roy Mitchell-Cardenas.
